Two Marble Kneelers.

On the 12th May 1936 14 men were drowned returning from a log drive. This sculpture invites the visitor to kneel on the cool and solid marble, to rest the knees, forehead and chin and contemplate the awful event. A buoy in the river marks the place where the tragedy occurred.
